You should avoid buying stuffed toysÂ
People who own a destructive pet should avoid buying stuffed toys. For instance, if your dog eats the stuffing or squeaker from the inside its health can be adversely affected. So, you should pay attention to that! But if your dog is not destructive (is not prone to chew things) then it can play with stuffed toys.Â
“The biggest danger is that a pet will eat the stuffing out of the toy or the squeaker from the inside. I have seen this cause an obstruction numerous times,” said Romero.Â

That was interesting but not helpful. I know not to buy hard
or soft or with strings, rope squeakers or stuffed. But you failed to describe what is good and WHY your choices are far better than all the things we mortals have given our pets. I usually don’t bother to follow questions that take you on and on but we do have a new stray rescue that was rescued and then given to us. I doubt you will respond, but a bit of help not just “don’ts” like teens need…don’t this and that and a dozen other things, but where are the parents whose house is open to all their kids’ friends and teach what is fun but still a good thing to do. Yes, decades ago our house was where the kids were welcome, now in our sons homes, kids are supervised and welcome. One teen we knew had a goodbye saying to her parent’s admonition…Parents would say, “Be Good and have Fun”,,,,Teen’s reply with “attitude”, “which is it, Be good or have Fun?” Many teens think that way.
