Gorillas are no different, apparently, and Zola is a Bronx native who is well-known for his dance moves.
This is one of his “enrichment” activities, which actually enriches our lives as well by making us smile, because how could you not?
“Enrichment helps enhance the environment and lives of animals, like Zola, by providing them with mental and physical stimulation to increase natural behaviors,” said the Dallas Zoo, where Zola resides now. “Enrichment can take many forms, but for this spunky great ape, it means playing and spinning in his favorite blue pool!”
