Found roaming the waters of Australia and New Zealand, these somewhat eerie looking creatures typically live to be around 60-70 years of age. However, there have been instances where they have lived for over a century. One long finned eel was pegged as being 106 years of age. They grow incredibly slowly which helps aid in their longevity.
