Bulldog

Unfortunately, the Bulldog was originally bred to drive cattle to market, as well as to compete in an extremely aggressive sport called bullbaiting, but luckily, they are now gentle companions that can be your children’s friends for life.

First and foremost, if you want to adopt a Bulldog, try to check your local animal shelter, because even though they are purebred dogs, many people abandon them. Hence, try to save a life by adopting one, instead of buying.

Moreover, they can sometimes be lazy and tend to eat a lot of food, so try to take them for a walk every day to prevent obesity. Another important thing to consider before adopting a Bulldog is that they can’t tolerate heat and humidity, so take them indoors if they show signs of overheating.
