Southern Black Widow

Another state which isn’t the home of too many spider species. What a relief for those ones living in Arkansas!

5. If you live in California you should expect: 

Western Black Widow- it’s usually black with a red hourglass on it’s back, but it can also be yellow and rarely even white;
Brown Widow
Chilean Recluse
Desert Recluse- a brown spider from the Sicariidae family;
• Yellow Sac Spider-their bites are painful, they have a unique color, but their abdomen can be either beige or yellow;

California is supposed to be the state where all dreams come true and so much more. This is a nightmare. We don’t want nightmares!

6. In Colorado and New Mexico the most common are: 

Western Black Widow

Brown Recluse

I mean it’s not ideal, but it’s better than California at this point.
