8. Doberman Pinscher

Did someone just say personal space? Yep, never heard of it. At least this is what Doberman Pinschers think when they see their favorite humans and all they want to do is jump on their lap for cuddles.

These dogs are big and powerful, and they are great at being watchdogs, but they are so sweet and affectionate that you can’t help but snuggle up with them all day long. If you were thinking of having some quiet time by yourself and maybe reading a book, you can still do it, but you might end up with a fluffy dog body straight on your lap.

…Did you know that the Doberman Pinscher was actually bred by a man named Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann? He was a tax collector who ran the Apolda dog pound in Thuringia, Germany, and who wanted to create the perfect watchdog to protect him.
