But the kind woman wasn’t going to give up that easily. She took Tommy to Milo’s Sanctuary for cats with special needs.
Here, he was given the right treatment, includin pain medication, sugar bandages and vitamins so that he would regain his strength.
About a month later, he was almost fully recovered.

The acid caused severe damage to the right part of Tommy’s face and he unfortunately lost his sight on one eye.
Although doctors feared that he would lose its sight on both eyes permanently, he is now just fine!

After brutal attacks caused by people, most cats are instinctively afraid of humans.
Tommy, however, is one of the kindest cats out there. During his treatment, he purred and licked the hands of everybody who helped him get better.
