Tiny and peaceful, and they almost never bark. Pugs offer a tone of love and affection and love to receive it back. This bread is suitable for all ages and they enjoy moderate climates, nothing too extreme.
Their eyes are vulnerable and prone to many health problems which is why regular check ups should be respected. Their fur doesn’t need too much grooming, once a week should be good.
Their nails should be trimmed regularly because long nails will be uncomfortable for them. They have a great and stable temperament and is easy to train.
They should be fed with high quality food nothing home prepared unless the vet approves. Remember that they are prone to obesity so make sure you don’t give them extra treats.

I am an owner of my 2nd Bichon Frise. The first one had oxalate acid crystals. Had to give him prescription food all of his 15yrs of life. I prefer male dogs. My second one is healthy but grouchy in his 17th year. Hard to get grooming and boarding for him because he doesn’t like to be picked up anymore.😥

About the ONLY one i would come close to agreeing with would be the Labrador and only a Yellow one as the rest have been overbred. I have owned almost all of the previously mentioned dogs over my many years and most I would definitely not trust with children, read grand children! I had a Newfie that was the love of my life, the only problem was he wanted to EAT everyone not related, they are not for pets, they are working dogs!

Good list but you didn’t include the best of the best breed — golden doodle!! Smart, gentle,
loving and very peaceful. Ours lasted 16 years until she passed 3 yrs ago. Broken hearts but memories forever!!!
