A Greyhound will be very gentle and noble with you, he has an independent spirit so you don’t have to worry about them being too clingy. They don’t require too much grooming, however their nails should be trimmed quite often and so their teeth (with a dog special toothpaste).
Some would say they are like cheetahs and so when playing fetch with them, it’s going to take an interesting turn. When you’re on a walk make sure you unleash them in a secure and fenced area.
They require nutrition based on high calories and lots of proteins.

I am an owner of my 2nd Bichon Frise. The first one had oxalate acid crystals. Had to give him prescription food all of his 15yrs of life. I prefer male dogs. My second one is healthy but grouchy in his 17th year. Hard to get grooming and boarding for him because he doesn’t like to be picked up anymore.😥

About the ONLY one i would come close to agreeing with would be the Labrador and only a Yellow one as the rest have been overbred. I have owned almost all of the previously mentioned dogs over my many years and most I would definitely not trust with children, read grand children! I had a Newfie that was the love of my life, the only problem was he wanted to EAT everyone not related, they are not for pets, they are working dogs!

It is an Italian Greyhound and a Toy breed dog. Huge difference!
Good list but you didn’t include the best of the best breed — golden doodle!! Smart, gentle,
loving and very peaceful. Ours lasted 16 years until she passed 3 yrs ago. Broken hearts but memories forever!!!
