Having a pet is an amazing and fulfilling thing, They are cute, silly, and full of love. Yes, they may have their perks, but we are not gonna lie, it can become overwhelming sometimes.

The happiness they provide us with can come with a big price. Including constantly cleaning the mess they leave behind, their needs and requirements being pricey, and so many other things. Of course, we still love them dearly and it’s not an inconvenience for us, but, there is one thing some of us just can’t get over.

That of course, is their specific odor that gets in the whole house and drives us crazy. But you will be happy to learn that there ARE some pets out there that are basically odorless!

1. Chinchillas

Over the years, these tiny critters have become a very popular choice, and to be honest, we can tell why they are adorable little rodents! They are harmless, incredibly soft, and very clean and odorless.

2. Parakeets and budgies

Parakeets aren’t entirely odorless, they are just a little bit smelly, but you can barely feel it. What’s even more interesting is the fact that some owners even find the smell quite pleasant.

Budgies keep themselves very clean and some people find their smell as appealing as the parakeet’s odor.

3. House rabbits

Rabbits are usually known as smelly pets, however, that is very false. Their urine is a stinky business, but other than that their coat is nice and odorless.

4. Geckos

Geckos are funny-looking pets, they are cute and are very easy to train. In addition, they are one of the few animals that don’t stink. So, if you DO sense an odor, you should take them for a check-up, there might be something wrong with their health.

5. Basenjis

Besides being a man’s best friend, dogs are often believed to be very stinky and messy, However, bear in mind that some of them are like that because of their owner. Not being properly taken care of, fed accordingly, and washed can lead to your pooch’s bad smell situation.
