Pink fairy armadillo
Native to Argentina, pink fairy armadillos are rarely seen in the wild. When one was captured, any modification to its environment or diet produced a stress response, according to a study. The San Diego Zoo reports that “the pink fairy armadillo rarely lives more than a few years in zoos, so little is known about this species.”

in the zoo in Rochester ny they have 2 rhinos in captivity full grown at that
They are referring to a Javan Rhino
This is why I cannot STAND the zoo!! It’s a travesty!! These animals are meant to be FREE!! Not to be gawked at, behind bars and glass, at a zoo. It’s just sickening. They are taken, brought into these BS conditions and then, they die!
Shame on anyone associated with such a scenario! They may as well be Slave Owners!
