What Does the World Look Like to Cats?

Probably we all asked at one point how cats see the reality. Do they see the world more or less colorful? Do they see it more or less full of tiny details? Find out in the following article if cats see the world differently than we do!

Humans see more colors than cats. Cats see the colors, but not as saturated as we do. The color they see is comparable to a person who is color-blind.

If your cat could drive, it would surely need glasses! Humans have 20/20 vision, while cats have between 20/100 to 20/200. They are far more focused on what is right in front of them — namely their owners, who may or may not be opening a can of fresh wet food, and unsuspecting prey. Cats simply love the darkness! They have an awesome night vision, while humans hate the darkness.

According to some studies, cats understand physics vey well. They understand the cause and effect. Their logical connections are based on sound, and that way they predict where they might hide. So, the differences aren’t big. Cats love the darkness, humans love the lights. We see the colors brighter and they see them faded.
