7. Russian Blue

What is impressive about the Russian Blue is that they shed two to three weeks a year, once or twice. They need grooming as well. These cats are graceful, elegant and they are very easy to train.

8. Exotic Shorthair

Another breed that barely sheds is the Exotic Shorthair cat breed. Their fur coat is thick and dense and the dead hair needs to be properly removed. They are sociable, affectionate and they adapt to both apartment and house environments.
