Betta Fish
The Siamese fighting fish, also known as the betta fish, is a freshwater fish native to Thailand. This species of fish is among the most popular aquarium fish in the world, not only because they cand be found in various vibrant colors, but also due to their low maintenance costs.
They are territorial creatures, so you shouldn’t keep males together in the same tank, because they tend to fight and this will usually lead to death. They can also live in low oxygen and poor water quality. They usually feed on zooplankton, small crustaceans, and the larvae of aquatic insects such as mosquitoes. They can also be fed with frozen foods like brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia and so on.
