Brussels Griffon

The Brussels Griffon dog breed can also adapt well to apartment life, so if you live in a small house and want to adopt a new pet, this is the perfect breed for you. There are two types of Brussels Griffon, namely the rough-coated Griffon and the smooth-coated Griffon, known as the Petit Brabancon.

As you already know, this dog breed is easy to train and should be socialized from an early age. They can get along with other pets and children as well. Even though they are small and not-so-active dogs, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t walk them every day to meet their physical needs.

There’s a reason this next breed is the most popular…..

  1. My parents had a Australian Shepard, he was very easy to train, he just had too much energy for them, but he was a very intelligent sweet dog.

  2. Black Lab. Loyal, smart, sweet, easy train, empathetic, just ‘knows’ what humans need and when (especially with kids)

  3. My female Dalmatian was one of the smartest. Now I got a Bugg ,a Boston Terrier and a English Mastiff. I think it’s how you approach training, all three are extremely well trained, they do things that amaze me ,I use hand signals for all my dogs especially the Mastiff

    1. Sandy, things will go better for you both, if you think of “show and tell”, rather than “discipline.” And if you reward the desired doggy response, you’re halfway there.

    2. Yes, just be sure to find a good trainer based on the breed and if your dog has any behavioral issues that need to be addressed. Good luck, you will be amazed.
