The Sheepadoodle was developed by breeding an Old English Sheepdog and a Poodle. According to animal experts, this crossbreed was discovered in the 1980s and, even though they have a long and dense coat, they don’t shed much, making them hypoallergenic dogs. My fur daughter is a Peekapoo, cross between a Pekinese and miniature poodle. She is truly a member of the family, both personal and office! Highly intelligent, sensitive, and easy going, she is a highly treasured team member of our local hospice. She never fails to pick up on peoples’ emotions and gives hugs, pressing her little head into your chest or leg…she’s a perfect addition to our grief groups. Maybe because she has always been around humans, people often mention that she acts more like a “little girl” than a dog!
