I love poodles. We’ve had 2 minis and 2 standards. They are all mellow, curious, funny, athletic, observant and affectionate. As long as they get attention, walks, and being in different situations for stimulation they are happy. 😃

  2. My favorite is the WESTIES. I just lost both of mine and it is really really hard on me. January, 2024 – Lost my husband of 60+ years; February, 2024 – had to put down my special loved dog; May I had to put down our last dog; then August 15 I lost my brother. Those dogs were my crutch and I mourn them almost as much as my husband and brother. THIS YEAR HAS BEEN THE M-O-S-T TERRIBLE YEAR.

  3. I have had 4 Pekingese and they are the most wonderful dogs. They are funny, loyal, smart and loving (lap dogs). Mine follows me everywhere. They have not been dogs to chew or destroy anything. I leave my shoes everywhere and they are never bothered.
love this breed. My last one had health problems but the one I have now is 13 1/2 and is the picture of health. She is active, curious, and a real pleasure to have around.

  4. Wow, how could you not include the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel on this list! Sorry but you’re wrong; mistaken and absolutely loco. We’ll forgive that since pooches are your priority.

  5. I have She’ pyrenees and standard schnauzer., she’s very loyal, smart, but my niece decided to get her on her lap. Now, Molly thinks that she can get on the sofa by herself. And she weighs almost seventy pounds

  6. My husband and I always had Labrador Retrievers and they were “gentle giants” as we used to refer to them. We had many grandchildren and they would play and walk with them. A Labrador rarely pulls when you walk them on lead. We had 2 at one time and I would walk them together on a double lead with absolutely no issues. Since I barely weigh 100 pounds myself that is saying something to brag about regarding Labrador Retrievers.
