The Javan rhino is the rarest large mammal on the planet, and none are in captivity, according to the World Wildlife Fund. They’re a shy species used to living in dense tropical forests, which are tough to replicate in captivity, Mizejewski says. There are only about 63 left, and they all live in Indonesia’s Ujung Kulon National Park.

This is why I cannot STAND the zoo!! It’s a travesty!! These animals are meant to be FREE!! Not to be gawked at, behind bars and glass, at a zoo. It’s just sickening. They are taken, brought into these BS conditions and then, they die!
Shame on anyone associated with such a scenario! They may as well be Slave Owners!

I think you need to do a bit of research on all the good zoos do for conservation and protecting animals in the wild. They also teach children to respect the diversity of nature. People rarely care about something they have never seen.

I haven’t seen many cuttlefish in zoos Where would I see one they’re interesting animals.
