Collie
It is a loyal, intelligent, fearless, affectionate and loving dog. Collie is a great dog for a family, because it loves people unconditionally, being very patient and loving with children. These dog breeds are very attached to the people they love and they hate to be left alone for a long time. They can get along very well with other animals, but they will always choose the people’s company.

You must be kidding!!!! NO GOLDEN RETRIEVER?? Get real.
Hello, i have a papillion, snuggly
Whats the matter with you dog pet snobs
I’ve had goldens and papillons love them all! The only list I’ve seen where paps are listed is the 10 smartest dogs, they are usually #8
I was thinking about getting a standard poodle, largely because they’re smart and don’t shed.
I used to have a Papillon and he was the sweetest, loyal, and loved to snuggle.
Should have been on the list
Yes, I agree. The Golden retriever should be on the list. I know mine is extremely affectionate. My maltipoo is just as affectionate too, and it’s not on the list either.
Totally agree with you. Goldens are No. 1 in the most affectionate group, hands down.
I had the most wonderful Goldens. Goldens rock.
I have 4 data points here.
My golden doodle was the best dog ever and I had lots of dogs in my life. Gabby left me one month short of 13 years old. Still miss her and always will. Golden Retrievers come in second after Gabby. She was a big dog but you would not know it. Loved everyone and all dog in the park.
Exactly!!! Our Gorgeous Goldens have brought more love and joy than you can imagine.
I couldnt agree more.
I absolutely agree! Golden’s are amazing!!!
Why do they never list the Chinese Crested a loyal lap dog. They are toy size at 12’tall. More cat like then dog. Not a barker, easy to train. Does not need walking. Prefers a warm porch or my lap. Not a one person dog-loves all
No kidding. I have had 10 of them. I currently have 2 girls. I wouldn’t have anything else!
Absolutely a must for this list a real cuddle monster calm loving patient with kids just a sweetheart
So Agree Gerry !!!
SJ
I would put them in the same category with Labrador retrievers because all retrievers I’ve ever had tended to be very affectionate dogs. Although, I can’t figure out why they have Chihuahuas on here since they tend to be aggressive.
Excuse me BUT ShihTzus LOVE to cuddle as I have 2 of my own and they love snuggling up to their daddy and getting belly rubs and treats and long walks!
Yes, Patrick. I have owned, or should I say they owned me, Shih Tzus and they are so sweet and loving! Mine have died in the past two years and I miss them so much.
Donna
I agree. They are so loveable & cuddly.
I have a Shitzu now and I have had a Golden in the past. They both are one of the best breeds ever!
My Shitzu has lots of fun playing with his Golden friends.
They are so affectionate and very happy dogs.
For sure! Nothing like Shih Tuzs
I agree I had one for 16 years I had to put her down last October and I miss her so much like you said she loved her belly rubbed and had some of the funniest antics !
I do not agree with your selection of Stafford shires, as I have had many interactions with them and their owners. Also, the picture you posted of the collie looks more like an aussie shepherd than a collie.A Piscitelli
I was thinking the same thing! I strongly believe any dog that you build a chemistry with can be the most lovable dogs. Association is key to getting a well rounded dog. I’ve had Cocker Spaniels, Dalmatians, and GSD’s in my lifetime. All very well rounded except this last one I got. He’s sociable like the others, however, he’s also has very dominant traits. I’m disabled and older and needed something to help with my disabilities and protection if needed. He’s extremely lovable and always wants to be petted. Whatever dog anyone gets, I’m 95% sure that you’ll receive what you put into that relationship with your dog! Be good!!
I disagree with where Labrador retrievers are on the list they should be closer to the top of the list. My chocolate lab was a 120lb lap dog. We were his favorite pillow. I have 2 GSD now and they are both extremely lovable dogs. My female gives hugs and has to sleep with her head on a pillow and between my bf and I. and My youngest is my social butterfly thinks kisses get him whatever he wants and everyone’s sole job is to play ball with him if they won’t and kisses doesn’t work then he assumes they want to give him a belly rub or scratch his chest. It doesn’t even cross his mind the world doesn’t revolve solely around him. He’s the sweetest dog with the biggest personality I’ve ever seen. They both sleep half on me the only time they bicker is when they both want to snuggle with me at the same time. When he wants me to sit with him he will take my hand, bring me to the couch and climb up still holding onto my hand. Once he’s up he will look at me and do a quiet bark and motion with his head towards the back of the couch. Once I sit down he usually will give me kisses before getting his stuffed toy and laying against me.
The picture is more of a border collie still a collie, greatest dog in the world.
I totally agree with you; I have had many dogs in my time it is always the how you build your relationship with the dog whether it be a puppy or a rescue dog.
Please refrain from negative comments on certain breeds. I have owned pities and they are extremely affectionate. Unless you have owned one yourself, please refrain from negative comments. All dog breeds can be very affectionate and loving. They are family to us. Thank you
That is actually a Border Collie. There are also Rough Coat and Smooth Coat Collies, like the Lassie dogs, which will always be what I think of as a Collie.
lol That’s an interesting comment. The collie is a border collie, and I happen to be an Amstaff owner. She was very rambunctious as a pup; however, she has always been loving, affectionate and obedient as she matures. As far as I know, I am pleasant as well.
That appears to be a Border Collie.
Pic is definitely a Border Collie and not a Lassie collie . We have had a few and though high energy is an understatement they are also cuddlers
Border Collie for sure! Quite frankly, not sure what your interaction with Stafford Shires has to do with their overall disposition. Dogs have individual personalities, just like humans, but breed traits, like intelligence, calm demeanor, and territorial behavior can all be exemplified as a response to it’s care and training or lack there of. Please don’t judge these wonderful animals with some internal bias due to a reputation predicated by it’s owner. Dogs are still very instinctive animals but that primitive drive is easily redirect through social restructuring. Give them all an open minded Chance, Dogs across-the-board are the most loyal, dedicated and selfless animal use humans have ever befriended. We make them what they are today, but they wandered into our firelight on their own.
Could not agree with you more on both points!!!!
I am on my 5th shi Tsu. I always tell people that the only thing you have to worry about shi tsus is they may lick you to death.
They are not good watch dogs . If someone came to the door with a gun, they would lick the barrel
My SHI TSU will let me know if any stranger comes to the door. Most well trained and and loves to be loved, I have had two and both had allergies,
My good friend has 2 Shi Tzu’s and they are too overprotective…bark at anyone they see or hear near the house…go crazy.
I work at a shelter and unfortunately, people drop off or return lovely pets that don’t do what they thought they should. If they’re lovable, what else can you ask for. People aren’t perfect, so how can you expect a dog to be. They don’t speak our language to discuss it.
Be happy and enjoy your lovely pups! 🐾😍🐾
So funny but very true!
My Shih tzu, Pebbles, would help a burgler carry my things out of my house while licking them to death.
I also have a snow white Staffordshire Terrier & he loves everyone.
They also left out the sweet natured, loving Maltese! Our little girl loves to cuddle and loves her belly rubs. Not a mean bone in her tiny body!
We have 2 Maltese and they are top notch when it comes to lap dogs and will cuddle with the best of lap dogs.
I agree with you. I’ve had three Maltese in my lifetime, I’m 81 years old now. They’re very
loving little dogs and very smart as well. This breed must be bought from a reputable breeder.
I have 2 Yorkie Grand-dogs. When I visit, they can’t wait until I sit down so that they can jump into my lap for pets and cuddles.
I have two very loving dogs. The older is a Shi-Tsu mix. She is my faithful lap dog companion at home. She follows me everywhere. Outdoors she is extremely protective and will chase away any larger dog than herself, no mater how big until she knows them better. My younger dog is the sweetest most loving Bichon Frize. She makes friends with any human who acknowledges her. She will lick your face ,arms but let her approach you first or she will back away.
I also had a Bishon Frize, she was such a loving dog I will miss her all my live- Kali died last year from a blader cancer and I held her in my lap while her doctor gave her something that look like a small piece of meat, so she liked it and went to sleep. Then he gave a lethal shot and my beloved dog died.
And, what about the Yorkies. They are very lovable but also very stubborn and have a mind of their own. Mine kisses the feet of everyone who comes to the door. She lives in my lap so I call it her lap, no longer mine!!! Lots of allergies, also.
Everybody’s dog is the greatest dog ever.
Well stated smiley face
I have had or co-parented 3 mini-Schnauzers in a row, and they are incredibly loving, intuitive, and snuggly. My current one is 5 years old, and still comes up to sit on my lap or place his muzzle on my thigh, unbidden. He cuddles with me when I go to bed before going to his own at the foot of it. He is pure love.
I have had 15 or so dogs in my life…….and now I have 2 Golden Retrievers……That speaks for it self. Goldens are the most gentle, sweet and family dog one could ever had. Now shedding is another story. But I will take all the shedding to have my goldens. Best dog ever….Denny
you are 100% correct.
Chihuahuas are a dedicated dog. I swore i never liked them until i baby sat a friends while on vacation and this little girl stole my heart. So i got one for myself and i wouldnt trade her for a million dollars. Any dog treated as family is the best dog you can own..
We have had 7 dogs throughout our marriage and while we have never had a Golden Retriever, I stand by the statement that Goldens are THE friendliest breed. They are overcome with joy and excitement when they encounter a stranger while on a walk or in any place where there are people. It’s as though their mission is to meet as many people as possible and to seek people’s approval and love. Goldens make it darn near impossible to not acknowledge them.
As you stated regarding their fur: it is the reason that would dissuade me from adopting a Golden. We’ve had two Labs, but their fur is easier to contain because it is shorter and more coarse. Goldens’ fur is long, and because it’s so thin and fine, it gets on surfaces more easily, including people’s faces. It’s frustrating when there is a single strand on my face and it takes ten minutes to locate it. It usually ends up around or in my mouth and eyes.
But they truly are the most loveable breed, in my opinion.
All of our dogs have been great, but our favorite was our black Lab. She was special in a unique way. Our yellow Lab was way too smart for anyone’s good. One of his nicknames was Houdini because he was a master at maneuvering his way into or out of places that seemed impossible for a dog to pull off. If he wanted something, he found a way to get it. He was one of those dogs that exuded a human quality, the kind that had human-looking eyes and it was a bit creepy and unnerving when he seemed to understand people’s conversations.
Anyway, dogs are great. I think they are one of God’s finest creations.
*I apologize for the length of my comment. I didn’t intend for it to be this long. I merely wanted to defend the sentiment of everyone else who expressed their dismay that the Golden Retriever was not on the list of best dog breeds.
I agree with you guys and the goldens. I have a very affectionate golden granddog. Also I think cocker spaniels should be added. Basically, I think just about ANY dog can be that way with the right owner. A dog is much like a child in that respect. If you teach a child to be loving and affectionate they usually will be. Dogs are smarter than non-owners give them credit for. They are very intelligent beings! I know I would be lost without mine! 🐶🐾🐶💕
I have raised 8 Golden Retrievers, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and now I have a Great Perinees and they all have been the best family dogs and very affectionate! Thanks to everyone who Loves and cares for animals!
I had my Newfoundland for about 8 years. Their one drawback is their short life span. I was very active with him during his lifetime. I went though obedience classes with him and he was easy to train. Through the class I went to, we formed a dog group and our activities especially included entering our dog drill team into local parades. We were extremely popular and the dogs behaved perfectly. I live in a neighborhood with access to a community lakefront park. During the summer especially, I would take the Newfie (his name was Teddy, as in Teddy Bear), to the lake for his daily swim. His life was short but we tried to make it the best life we could.
I had one from a puppy (Little Lulu Belle) and she lived to 12. My Newfie now (Moses), I adopted when he was 8 months old. He is going on 10 now.
Both have been amazing! Not real cuddlers (I think becauseof the heat becausethey’llstand it for about10 minutes) but love affection. I did pet therapy with both and everyone loved them.
Great dogs!!!
Great Danes are another gentle giant breed that has a short life. Mine lived to two weeks short of 8 years. He was a real love, gentle, affectionate, and easy to train, although he could be stubborn if he didn’t want to do something. I still miss him after 10 years.
Heartbreaking that the large breeds have such short lives. Our Great Dane didn’t even live 6 years. 💔 He was my friend and guardian during my teen years. ❣️
Love my Munchkin!! He is 5 now, and going strong. He loves to ride in the car with me, and, Yes, I never go to the bathroom alone since he came to live in our home. Munchkin is very verbal!! This little guy is deep in my being.
Very interesting report . We love dogs and always rescue. This information is very valuable. Thanks
All dogs are loyal and affectionate. I have the Jack Russells loyal, smart, slick, sneaky, think they know it all they’re just like me.🐕🐾❤️😍😂 Jack Russells wannabe Pitbull wannabe Rottweiler crazy off the hook little dogs.
Boston Terrier
although we sometime call them Boston Terrorist’s
The females are especially snuggly
I have a Manchester Terrier who is very loyal. I feed her when l leave for work and l may not see her for another 12 hours. She may wait for most of the day and eat when l get home. She is 9 to 10 pounds of solid love. She sleeps with me. She is very healthy and creates almost no vet bills other than routine care. She is very intelligent, and her short hair make her easy to care for. Her breed is long lived. For me her small size and great personality are a great asset to my life. She has only dirtied my bathroom twice in three years. The strange part that she was a rescue from a young lady who died of an accident.
Stay well and l pray you are as blessed as l am.
Is she alone when your away? Dogs need friends. We adopted 2. Best thing you can do in those times when you have to be a a away a lot
Yellow labs. 15 years in our household. (One dog)!
I have two pomerians, and they are precious and loving and follow us everywhere.
I have a female Corgi pup, the most wonderful, lovable, intelligent dog I’ve ever had. Loves to be held like a baby, on her back
What you prefer ankle biters over dogs that are REAL affectionate. Are you AFRAID of REAL dogs. I have had 5 Shepherds would not trade one for an ankle biter. I lost some attention when grandkids were around. They would not leave child’s side. Try kidnapping a child with my Shepherds. They were not trained that. They LOVED the kids and vice versa.
If properly socialized, the Rottweiler is the most loving goofy and affectionate of dogs, rivaling any on this list. A tough exterior hides a sweet and gentle dog whose loyalty is unmatched
I’ve had 3 goldens in my lifetime and they were sweet and wonderful, but were not cuddlers. I did not care…they were just great!
Have was lucky to have dogs even before I was born. Had a wirehaired fox terrier that was a snuggler. A boxer mix that was a snuggler, Then 3 Goldens that weren’t and 2 Newfoundland that weren’t. All were affectionate, though.
All were wonderful, sweet and smart with their own personalities.
I work at a shelter and there are millions (including many purebreds) sitting and waiting for homes. They’re not all perfect, but either are we. I know they deserve good homes with people that love them for who they are.
I had A retired Greyhound that walked 4 miles every morning with me. She then went to work with me every day for 6 years, at my plumbing co. She was the most efficient dog I ever owned.
Come on people. Really? You have forgotten so many breeds that are full of love for their masters. Two of which I now own. Molly a Schnauzer and Mandy a Toy Poodle. I used to own, breed and raise Great Danes and better loving gentle giants one cannot find. I have never found a Pit Bull one can fully trust as one you suggest as a pet. The danger lies in their DNA.
They can be a bit 1 human! My dad’s chihuahua Fiesty bit everyone but daddy she also refused to be potty trained but dady loved her, so even after we lost daddy she had a home till she died at 18. conversly our chihuahua Nana Loves everyone! and she always lets us know when she needs to go outside… unless it’s raining!
You left off the Golden Retriever, one of The most loving, affectionate, intelligent, and kind dogs ever!
lways have to be close to you and also love everyone. Smart active and love to play
Chihuahuas are friendly and loyal unfortunately I have had 2 stolen from me. They like to roam around 2 of them got hit by cars. Labrador I have seen in hospitals and are good guide dogs for BLIND people they need to have some duty play and physical activity
My 95 lb boy Boxer Boomer thinks he is a lap dog and had to have his own blanket or pillow but at the end of the night he always ends up between me and hubby like a child.
Hellloooo – what about BEAGLES?
I have three dogs: a small cocker spaniel, a tiny Bichon Frise, and a Malshi. I trained my Malshi to be my own therapy dog. We are inseparable. Our current three are playful, cuddly, loving and kind. My hubby and I have always had dogs. My favorite breed is cocker spaniel. They are so intelligent, loyal, kind, have quirky personalities, and love their families. We have to put all shopping bags on the floor so she can sniff and approve!
so what happened to the Goldlen Retreiver in your list?
i had the sweetest Coton de Tulear EVER! He was a 12 pound ball of love. He followed me everywhere and usually had to be touching me. He would be outside playing and run to the kitchen door to make sure I was there, and off he would go. He didnt walk…he skipped. However he was very ill. His Vet totally ignored his deformed colon, because I wouldnt get any vaccinations but Rabies, and I refused to buy his expensive dog food, and cooked all his meals myself. I changed Vets after being neglected for 5 yrs. The next Vet said he didnt have a deformed colon and treated him with expensive tests and steriods, until he collapsed and had to be euthanized. The Vet at Med Vets said he did have a deformed colon that could have been cured with a balloon procedure. My poor baby suffered quietly for 7 yrs. Its been 6 mos, and I still cry myself to sleep every night. His sister also a Coton is finally returning to herself but appeared very depressed also. Losing your pets is so hard, and when it wasnt necessary it is devastating.
My Belgium Schipperke was the best. He loved me and let me cuddle him and play with him.
My black German Shepherd is full-blooded and she is very cuddly
Fyi, that wasn’t no collie.
My doberman is my biggest baby. Loves to use me as her chair and bed anytime she can. While she will protect the house and her people in it. She will also let us know when an in wanted squirrel or bird enters her yard. And she loves to hold conversations her fur friends over the fences a couple houses down. But don’t stop and talk to the things in the glass box with bubbles because then your not paying attention to her and she will let you know lol
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the best! I have one cuddling with me right now. She is a sweetheart and loves people.
What’s there should have been a old English sheepdog there in the list. Some that’s in the list should not have even been thought about !!!
The photo appears to be a Border Collie, not a long-haired or smooth Collie. They are not the same breed.
You don’t have Old English Sheep Dogs on the list .They get along with people and other dogs. they are very affectionate.
Everyone of my many, many dogs were super affectionate from the pure breds to the pound puppies.
There’s more dog’s than those 10 I have a Pomeranian that is nothing but loving and loves to snuggle up with me. , he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body!! He loves everyone.
Golden Retrievers knock people over with their tails.
Well, pretty subjective list there 🤔.
You left out wire haired fox terriers, which is a major flub. They not only are affectionate and good with kids, but are among the smartest dog breeds.
This is certainly the writers opinion, but its not mine when a Pit Bull is on the list. There are so many lovable dogs, it depends how they were raised.
My miniature poodle is so affectionate. He goes every where in the house as I . I have 2 Standard poodles that are amazing as well. I would strongly recommend.
What happened to the consummate Velcro dog…Chinese Crested????
Where’s the Golden Retriever?
How about the Golden Retriever, GSD,and Rottweiler?
No mention of a whippet…I can’t take this seriously
Well you did the Collie right-the Aussie has got to be on the top of the list. Small dogs for the most part are not that cuddly, their hair is short, the have hypertension and anal gland issues and their breath is just bad most of their lives, sorry.
That dog is not a collie.
Black Labs. Hands down. The best in every category.
Please just post the whole story as I piece. Clicking through your 10 different pages is a waste of time.
You failed to mention Golden Retrievers and now that we own one Great Pyrenees are the best dogs in my opinion
A commentator said collie really is a Aussie. Wrong! That pix isa border collie.
I have had many dogs of different breeds, and I agree that goldies are very sweet and affectionate dogs. I now own a German shepherd and a Mal. They both are very protective of all family members and constantly want attention (they both think that they a lap dogs). I love all animals, but dogs are natures gift to man. Please love and protect them and they will return your love a thousand times.
Yeah, Collie’s are the best!
What about German Shepherd/Pit mixed. Are they family dog around kids?
No Vizsla? The original Velcro dog.
How about English Shepherds? I rescued mine and if I am home, I have to be in her sight. She is a very loving addition to my home but don’t enter without me being there. She is very protective!
I spent five minutes trying to find the answers. I am so tired of these emails giving me something interesting to look at, but it’s so buried in ads. I can’t even find the article that I was supposed to be looking at. This is another example of the same thing. It’s ridiculous.
Dachshunds! At least the miniatures. They love to sit in your lap, or right beside you on a sofa/chair. Not to mention burrowing under the covers in bed!
You really blew this one. Who ever heard of someone wanting to snuggle with a Bill Dog or a Chihuahua. Didn’t you every hear of a Golden Retriever??????
I have had Cocker Spaniels for over fifty years, Red, Blonde and Black, all have been very cuddly, , I did gay care prior to Covid, and she loved those kids and they lved our 8 Yr old loves to cuddle, and is very smart, every evening when y son is due home, she goes to the garage door and waits for him, Prior to Covid I did Day care anf she loved the kids and they loved her. In my 92 years I have never had a mean dog around me.
The only one just about as bad was Carter. Neither one was good with economy and brought things down or got better. Covid under trump was the only thing that kinda helped because no one could do anything. After covid and trump did nothing during covid is when things went bad and again he did nothing. Things are getting better now under Biden and will until trumps and Gop budgets start in a couple years u just wait. I was govt employee.
Where do American foxhounds rank??
You’re including some breeds that are not recommended unless you have endless time to invest, such as the border collies.
If you don’t give them a job and a lot of mental stimulation and exercise, they will assign themselves a job, which could be eating all the way through a wall or destroying a couch.
Also, King Charles Spaniels have a problem with the brain growing and the skull not keeping up, which can cause them to attack their owner without warning or bark incessantly.
I know a person who had their King Charles Cocker Spaniels vocal cords removed as an alternative to putting him down, because he barked constantly if awake.
Later, while taking Cheistmas photos, it latched onto its owner’s face and had to be tried off by two other people.
They’re far too overused.
The pug is also so overused that it has breathing problems, and cannot give birth without a C section. Ie. Having puppies kills them otherwise.
Never get one that isn’t spayed, because if it got pregnant and then lost, it would die.
Yikes.
Wrong picture. That’s not a collie. Collies look like Lassie.
I have a pure bred male German Shepherd, who’s a drama king and yet very cuddly, and a pure bred short haired female Australian Shepherd, who’s dominant and also very affectionate and cuddly.
Throughout my adult life I’ve had 7 Dalmatians. I cannot watch TV in the evening without 2 of them piled up on my lap covered with a throw from head to toe. They’ve all been the same.
Also missed on list is Rottweilers. They look fierce and can be if you are a stranger coming into family space but they are the biggest cuddle bums in the world. We are on our 5th and they were all loveable cuddly babies.
2 pit bulls killed a disabled friend. I do not trust them. He did not anger them.A pit bull bit off the ear of a child that was too close to a fence. I do not trust them. A friend has them and loves them.
Horrible list, how could a lab not be higher on the list and a golden retriever not even be mentioned. What planet is the person who made this list from?
My Chiweenie is the most affectionate girl. Perhaps it’s because she had a tough beginning and is so grateful to have a safe, happy and loving forever home. She’s my world.
Absolutely! Goldens are the best.
Where is the post? I see only ads.
Best of all affectionate dogs is a golden doodle. Smarts of a poodle and loving of a golden retriever. Ours lasted 16 years and we miss her every day.
I have a mountian fiest and he is attached to at the hip
We now have 2 spaniels and they love us to bits as we love them.
I agree! My Golden Ret is so loveable!
I can’t believe you overlooked the intelligent, sweet and loving toy poodle!!
This site is ridiculous. Can’t even click on the link so I gave up after several attempts. Crazy ads keep popping up. Couldnt even review the article. Very bad site. Won’t be back
I’m interested in the Beagle breed
I grew up with many of the various dogs you discuss. Loved them all. The last, present breed is new to me — two pekingese. They are wonderful, bright, incredibly intuitive and loving. I would love to see you talk about that breed.
No Schnauzers or Labrdoodles? Both are affectionate. All of our Schnauzers loved to snuggle!
What? No Old English Sheepdogs? My older OES Scout would be offended. I’ve heard OES described as Velcro Dogs and he certainly matches that description. If I’m home/on the property and he isn’t eating or briefly “doing his duties”, he either by my side or barking to be let in so he came be right beside me.
You never mention Pekingese and I think that is a sad mistake. I have had 4 and they are loyal, affectionate, love to cuddle and love everybody. My 4 have been such a pleasure. The only problem I have had is that when you open the door they tend to run away.
I TOTALLY AGREE, Brussels are so friendly and lovable! I have had two and they are the best!! They are definitely “SOUL” dogs!!
The first one is a “French Bulldog” not a “Bulldog”. Bulldogs are much bigger and heavier.
IMHO, Goldens are in a class by themselves and are by far the most people friendly. They think they are people
I’m ready to go now.
Number 3???…Staffordshire and Pit Bull Terriers…I’d rather own a rattlesnake. They’re all ticking timebombs. My veterinarian told me he’s not allowed to see them because his insurance won’t cover him if he does. Do yourself a favor, there’s 9 other dogs in this article, pick one of them.
You left out Golden Retrievers. They are number 1.
