My fur daughter is a Peekapoo, cross between a Pekinese and miniature poodle. She is truly a member of the family, both personal and office! Highly intelligent, sensitive, and easy going, she is a highly treasured team member of our local hospice. I started training her to become a therapy dog at just months old, and she was the youngest to become certified at the local Delta Association. She never fails to pick up on peoples’ emotions and gives hugs, pressing her little head into your chest or leg…she’s a perfect addition to our grief groups. Maybe because she has always been around humans, people often mention that she acts more like a “little girl” than a dog!
