Maltese

  • Dog breed group: companion dogs
  • Life span: 12 to 15 years

The Maltese dog breed looks delicate and elegant, but in reality, they are very energetic and need daily exercise to consume their energy. Being companion dogs, they love to be surrounded by people and can suffer from separation anxiety, especially if you leave them alone at home for long periods of time. not to mention that they can develop destructive behavior as well.

According to animal experts, the Maltese dog breed is not a good choice for families with children for two reasons: first, they are intolerant of small children and can bite them, especially if they are not trained and socialized properly from an early age; and second, although they are tolerant, they can be easily injured due to their size.
