7 Dog Breeds That Look Like Puppies Their Entire Adorable Lives

Pomeranians

The Pomeranian is an active dog that can easily be trained for agility and obedience competitions, or simply to be the perfect companion for your family.

However, as a general rule that can be applied in any type of dog breed or even cat breed, whether they are purebred or mixed animals, they may be found even in various animal shelters as well, so instead of giving huge amounts of money to a breeder, try to save a life and adopt a poor soul.

With that in mind, although they look like puppies all their lives and have small bodies, Pomeranians don’t always act that way, being talkative, affectionate, smart, and active with a strong personality.

They are the tiniest members of the Spitz dog family, which consists of the Samoyed, Alaskan Malamute, and Norwegian Elkhound, to name a few.

Nevertheless, these puppies are independent and challenging dogs that sometimes forget their real size, so they can become aggressive or even – try to – attack other larger dogs. Thus, try to pay more attention to them when you go to the park – not because they could hurt another big dog, but they can challenge other dogs (some that aren’t that friendly) and it can end up badly for you and your tiny Pom.

  1. People ask me all the time how old my “puppy” is. She was a rescue but we’re guessing around 14. She is white around the muzzle but there’s no other way you can tell she has mileage! Her temperament has never changed, her playfulness has never wavered, she DOES shed constantly (so what? I bought a better vacuum), and what’s written above is right on the nose. Start that brushing right away; Missy doesn’t like to be brushed and it’s an international furor every time I attempt it. But as mentioned above, they’re smart. Missy has her own attorney and her own publicity manager. I’m simply here to feed her and play with her on command. During COVID and cancer she has been a fantastic dog, friend, companion, door-barker, and judge of character. I’m even getting used to the attorney.

  2. Yorkies!!! Where is the Yorkie?!!! My Yorkie is 13 and he still looks like a puppy!!! People can’t believe he is 13 years old.
